We need to make sure that we eat the right amount, and type of food to provide the energy needed to compete in sport and keep us healthy too. Exercise and training plans are important, but far less effective if you aren’t eating correctly. As a Registered Nutritionist and expert in Sports Nutrition, I can enhance your performance by providing personalised nutrition to support your sport and exercise ambitions. 60 Minute Sports Performance Intensive

- One-to-one consultation with our Sports Performance Nutritionist (60 minutes in-person or online)
- Review of a 3-4 day food and training diary, with discussion of your current energy and macronutrient intake, compared with your training load and recommended intake to help you achieve your goal
- Up to 3 key focus areas are identified to give you a next steps plan to implement
- (Where applicable) Body composition goal setting to give you measurable targets to work towards
- Client feedback sheet with a summary of the session and Nutritionist’s key recommendations for your next steps

6 Weeks Sports Performance Programme
This consultation is for you if…
- You have a sports event planned, or you’re training for a particular sport and want to step up your performance to the next level
- You want to be at the front of the pack feeling energised and prepared for your event
- You want help tackling multiple symptoms that you think could be linked to your performance. For example:
- You’re fatiguing early, and not finishing your sessions feeling good
- You’re struggling to recover after your training sessions
- You’re always hungry and can’t seem to stop eating whether you’ve exercised or not
- You want to better understand how food, nutrition and hydration can impact your sports performance, specific to your sport
- You are concerned about your whether physique is helping or hindering your performance, and would like support in reducing body fat / gaining muscle / gaining weight.
- You want weekly personalised support to guide you through your programme and help you to perform at your best
- You want to be in a position where you never hit that wall or get that DNF (did not finish)
- You are nailing your training and perhaps working with a coach, but feel like the food you’re eating might be hindering your performance
This programme includes: In week 1:
- One-to-one consultation with our Sports Performance Nutritionist (up to 60 minutes)
- Discussion of the body composition analysis results and potential implications for your sports performance.
- For example: Would you benefit from increasing your upper body muscle to improve your swim time in triathlon?
- Or perhaps your distribution of fat to muscle is unbalanced and could increase your injury risk. (Remember, some small tweaks could give you the edge when it comes down to you and a rival for that first place finish!)
- We set personalised body composition goals to give you measurable targets to work towards
- Our Sports Performance Nutritionist will review your 3 day food and training diary and create a bespoke programme of key priorities to focus on across the 6 weeks.
- – Discussion of any unwanted symptoms that could be hindering your training and performance.
Across the 6 weeks:
- We drill down into the results of the food diary analysis, concentrating on a new factor each week. For example:
- Your total energy intake – Are you eating enough to support your health and fuel your high training load?
- Macronutrient intake – Are you eating the right balance of proteins, carbohydrates and fats to best fuel your performance?
- Micronutrients – Could you be at risk of a vitamin deficiency that could put at increased risk of injury?
- Hydration – Do you have a hydration strategy?
- We build a race day strategy and nutrition plan – Across the 6 weeks we trial strategies to ensure you have the perfect race day plan
- Weekly online one-to-one consultations with our Registered Nutritionist, focusing on a new topic to include in your nutrition strategy, including a weekly checklist to keep you on track. (up to 30 minutes per call)
In week 6:
- One-to-one consultation with our Sports Performance Nutritionist (up to 60 minutes)
- Review total progress made across the 6 week programme, and summary of our Nutritionist’s key recommendations for your next steps
